No one wants to hear the word “blacklisted” – and some people think that there is actually a physical “blacklist” somewhere. There isn’t!
“Blacklisted” is simply a term used to describe your negative listing at South African credit bureaus.
Your credit report and credit score is vitally important when you need access to credit. Credit providers will use your credit report (along with other information) to determine whether you qualify for more credit.
Let us be the “middleman” and deal with your creditors on your behalf, if:
Dealing with debt collectors frightens you
You are scared of your assets being repossessed
You want to pay your debt, but can’t afford the full amount
You want a clear credit record
What is a judgement?
We have assisted thousands of South Africans who are overwhelmed by their debt and don’t know which way to turn.
Let us be your middleman. Let us be your guide. Let us act on your behalf and help you get rid of your debt
What is a default information?
Default information is negative information supplied to the credit bureaus by your credit provider if you fail to pay your account, but legal action had not yet been taken.
“Defaults” usually remain on your credit report for 1 year, or until the debt is paid in full (before the 1 year is over).
A default, but especially a judgment on your credit report will mean that your “blacklisted loans” are preventing you from getting any more credit from registered credit providers. When this happens – consumers often turn to unregistered money lenders / mashonisas for loans. This never ends well – as they charge astronomically high interest rates, which often keeps you in the vicious grip of debt.
However, taking a loan from an unregistered money lender will not fix your credit report, nor raise your credit score. This means you will never be able to qualify for a home loan, vehicle finance, credit card, personal loan, overdraft or retail accounts.
We can help you clear your name from the “blacklist” and fix your credit record. Everyone has been through hard times and missed payments. That doesn’t mean you have to keep paying for your mistakes forever.
